It maybe a simple cocktail, but the Moscow Mule’s ability to refresh, thanks to the zing of the ginger, is only comparable to that of an Aperol Spritz or Pimms. Simple and quick to make all you need to serve it is plenty of ice, mint and a copper tankard, or why not give it a British twist and use a pewter or silver tanker.
120ml Ginger Beer
Juice of 1/2 a lime
To garnish – a few mint sprigs and Angostura Bitters
Enough ice to fill the tankard
Fill the tankard with the ice and then pour in the ginger beer, vodka and lime juice. Stir and then garnish with the mint. Push some of the mint down into the drink to allow it to infuse. Add a few dashes of Angostura Bitters to the top and serve.
